Welcome to the School
The O’Gara School of Irish Dance was formed in January 2006 by Viv O’Gara straight after she passed her TCRG exam (teachers exam). The school grew and grew until eventually Viv had to give up her much loved job as a police radio operator in order to teach full time. In 2013 Viv’s friend Claire Saxon passed her TCRG and also became a part of the school.
The O'Gara School of Irish Dance caters for all levels from complete beginner through to championship level and adult classes. Both competitive and non competitive classes available.
It's what our dancers and their families think that is really important to us.

Joe and I have a great deal of respect for your decision. Integrity is hard to come by sometimes and you are showing a great deal of it. We want our girls to have models like you in their lives who, by their example, help shape who they become. Let's go O'Gara School!
